ESPINAR PROVINCE - CUSCO

Geographic Location
Espinar is a Peruvian province, also called K'ana Nation, one of the thirteen that comprise the Department of Cuzco, under the administration of the regional government of Cusco.
Limits the north with the province of Canas, east to the Puno region, the Arequipa region south and west by the province of Chumbivilcas.
Historical Data
The province was created by an Act of November 17, 1917.
Outreach and Administration Division
The province has a population of 66 908 inhabitants. The capital of the province is the city espinar Yauri (Espinar).

Geography
The province has an area of 311.09 km ˛ 5. Geographically located in a frigid, their average tempertaturas ranging between 8.6 °C. and 7.2 °C, the most favorable season for tourism visit is from April to October.
Espinar The Province is characterized by its power in terms of livestock production of sheep and cattle markets sales being Cusco and Arequipa, reason of his famous livestock fairs.
Customs and Traditions
Espinar has outstanding high-rise to plan in gliders, Suykutambo is one of the places where the sport is practiced, facing the lure Mauka Llaqta (Old Town) which was held in 2007 at the III Festival Ecodeportivo.
